Ten years ago ... Spotlight on Africa for Halton Holegate pupils

African artwork and storytelling kept pupils busy at Halton Holegate Primary School 10 years ago as they prepared for their halfterm break.

Parents, staff and governors were joined by dance teacher Lisa Jay from Skegness and artist Nicky Dillerstone from Grimsby to teach children about African culture.

A range of African dance, painting, sketches and stories helped children get a better understanding of African life.
