Mrs James told the Leader: “We thought it would be great to get an old premises back up and running.

“We offer everything from confectionery, fresh food and snacks, to tobacco, alcohol and the lottery, and have a ‘Mr Coolit’ slush machine ready for the summer - all at competitive prices.

“We also have a self-serve drinks machine, providing bean to cup coffee, latte, cappuccino, espresso and Americano, as well as hot chocolate and fresh brew tea - only £1.50 each. Next to this is a range of cakes, muffins and cookies.

“Our shop is ideal for those on the go, short-stay visitors and nearby workers.”
