There’s no stopping Daniel as he claims another first in speed judging contest

Timekeeper Hedley Stennett directed the riders away from Roseway to the starting point of the 4.4-mile circuit at Padmoor Lane, Knaith Park

The riders left the junction of Padmoor Lane, turning left on to Kexby Lane (B1241), on to Kexby where the route turned left leaving the B1241 to make its way to Upton.

They then turned left on to Padmoor Lane to return to Knaith Park to complete a lap.

First place and six points went to Daniel Nicholson who chose three laps in 67 minutes, his time was 66 minutes 52 seconds, giving him a time that was 8 seconds fast; second with five points was Paul Reynolds who chose four laps in 64 minutes, his time was 63 minutes 04 seconds; third with four points was Colin Smith who chose three laps in 60 minutes, his time was 61 minutes 11 seconds; fourth and three points went to Mark Clark who chose three laps in 80 minutes, his time was 81 minutes 44 seconds; fifth with two points was Matt Hindmarsh who chose four laps in 69 minutes, his time was 66 minutes 24 seconds, giving him a time that was 2 minutes 36 seconds fast; sixth and getting one point was Michael Dawson who chose four laps in 75 minutes, his time was 72 minutes 19 seconds; seventh was Dave Day who chose three laps in 60 minutes, his time was 63 minutes 16 seconds; eighth was 12-year-old Liam Hindmarsh who chose four laps in 73 minutes, his time was 78 minutes 34 seconds, giving him a time that was five minutes 34 seconds slow; ninth was Trevor Halstead who chose four laps in 60 minutes, his time was 66 minutes 45 seconds, giving him a time that was sixminutes 45 seconds slow.

Overall results: Daniel Nicholson 18 points, Matt Hindmarsh 12, Mark Clark 7, Paul Reynolds 5, Trevor Halstead 5, Dave Day 5, Liam Hindmarsh 4, Colin Smith 4, Simon Hobday 2, Michael Dawson 1.

On Sunday 11th December there is a morning leisure ride suitable for beginners.

Riders should meet at Roseway, Gainsborough at 9.20am.
