There's still time to nominate a hero for Community Award

The event gives special recognition to the organisations and individuals who make huge contributions to lives across the district.

Chairman of the Council Roger Patterson said: “As Chairman I have been privileged to meet so many community spirited people who do not think twice about giving up their time to help others in the community.

“They help deliver a wide range of crucial services across the district.

“If you know someone in your community who deserves a little recognition for their hard work then nominate them today.”

“This is an opportunity for us to celebrate their achievements.”

The deadline for nominations is Friday March 17 at 4.30pm.

Winners will be presented with their awards on Monday April 24 at an evening ceremony at the Guildhall in Gainsborough.
