Thugs sentenced for assault on taxi driver

TWO thugs who left a Worksop taxi driver battered and bruised following a dispute over a fare have been sentenced.

His accomplice Michael Robinson, 23, also from Dinnington, was handed a four-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work in the community for his part in the act.
