Time running out to vote for your local hero in Skegness

A night of recognition is being planned at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Skegness to honour their dedication and commitment to whatever cause they offer their time and their efforts and to support your Coastal Community and Prostate Cancer UK.

This is your final chance to nominate your unsung heroes in and around the Lincolnshire Coast and to give them a night of recognition for their dedication and commitment to whatever cause they offer their time and their efforts to and to support your Coastal Community and Prostate Cancer UK.

Nominations closed yesterday but a special extension for Skegness Standard readers until midnight tonight.

The nominations are:

- Young Volunteer of the Year (under 18)

- Young Fundraiser of the Year (under 18)

- Young “Best Friend” (Carer) of the Year (under 18)

- Volunteer of the Year (Over 18)

- Fundraiser of the Year (Over 18)

- Carer of the Year (Over 18)

- Community Team Award

- Sports Volunteer of the Year
