Tips to stay safe on roads during winter

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue is highlighting the importance of taking extra care on the roads as nights become darker and the weather worsens.

Colder weather traditionally sees a rise in collisions as visibility is poor and road surfaces become more treacherous due to ice and snow.

To stay safe on the roads at winter the advice is to make sure all windows are properly de-misted and de-iced on cold and frosty mornings.
