Top prizes on offer thanks to '˜Fresh Start' in Louth

An award-winning initiative that provides meals and care for vulnerable people in the Louth area has launched a recipe competition from its base at the Trinity Centre.

‘Fresh Start Meals and Care’ launched in the area last autumn, and organisers want to hear about ideas for a main meal or a pudding – as long as it is a personal or family recipe.

The winner will receive a £100 prize and their recipe will be added to Fresh Start’s menu, with accreditation to the winner.

There will be prizes for 2nd and 3rd places of £50 and £20 respectively and there are three categories: professional, amateur, and junior.

Applications can be sought from The Trinity Centre, Louth, by e-mailing [email protected], or by calling the main office on 01472 231507. The deadline for registering is Thursday, June 30, and judging will take place at the Trinity Centre on July 11.
