Town cadets reawarded
Councillor Jessie Milne joined Battalion Commandant Colonel Ian Sackree at the T.A.Centre on Ropery Road, Gainsborough to celebrate the achievements of cadets.
Colonel Sackree reminded the cadets of the rewards on offer to them as he promoted Adult under Officer Pete Boucher to Second lieutenant and also presented him with a certificate earned during his time as Cadet Lance Corporal only eight years ago.
Before she made presentations for Duke of Edinburgh Award, Coun Milne thanked the detachment for the privilege of being invited to the evening. Turn to page 24 for more.
