Town to host international speaker

In addition to speaking at the Sleaford Keswick Bible Ministry event at the Riverside Church, on Friday at 7.30pm, he will also take part in the Riverside Church morning service at 10.45am on Sunday.

In between he will deliver two sessions at the New Life Church, Mareham Lane, on Saturday from 1pm. He will be addressing important issues for the Church today – its relationship to world mission and, as a Jewish Christian himself, the place of Israel and the Jews in today’s world. There will be refreshments between the two sessions.

Dr Goldsmith trained in the Royal Navy as a Russian interpreter and has done studies in Russian Political Thought. After his studies at Oxford University he did theology in Bristol and then served for ten years with the Overseas Missionary Fellowship in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and South Thailand.
