Trafic update: snow still causing some delays

The snow is causing some traffic delays generally on roads around the Mansfield Ashfield and Worksop areas, although the situation has improved from earlier today.

Traffic remains very heavy on the M1 southbound because of a broken down vehicle at Junction 24.

There is very slow traffic on M1 Northbound between J27 A608 (Hucknall / Underwood) and J28 A38 (Alfreton / Mansfield).

There are also delays on the A611 Derby Road in Kirkby at the B6020 Diamond Avenue junction, because of snow.
