During these night time closures traffic will be diverted from Holdingham roundabout at Sleaford via the A15 and A52 to Bicker Bar roundabout, and vice versa.

Motorists driving from Sleaford on the A17 will be able to get as far as East Heckington and there will be no access to or from the A17/A1121 Boardsides.

Swineshead Bridge residents and businesses should gain access to properties via the A1121 Boardsides.

Satish Shah, head of highways at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “This section of the A17 requires some maintenance so we’re coming in over three nights in September to lay a new road surface.

“Advanced notice signs have already been put-up on the A17 to warn drivers about the closures, but local diversions will be in place throughout the work.”
