Delays on A17 following accident

An accident on the A17 caused tailbacks to Swineshead Bridge this morning (Thursday) delaying morning commuters.

A police spokesman said the incident on the Heckington bypass near to the Jet Garage was called in at 8.05am and involved two vehicles.

They were a blue Toyota Auris and a silver Ford Transit minibus.

The road was reopened at 8.30am.
