Emergency road closure near Boston due to sinkhole
A road near Boston has been closed following the appearance of a sinkhole.
West End Road, in Wyberton, is shut between London Road and Chain Bridge Road due to the issue, located near to the London Road junction.
The closure is also affecting access to Tytton Lane East, Wyberton West Road, and Five House Lane.
Traffic from these roads is currently being directed to exit via Chain Bridge Road and the A52.

A signed diversion route is in place via: B1391 Ralphs Lane/B1392 Holmes Road/A52 and vice versa.
Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) advises drivers to follow the diversion signage and allow extra time for their journeys.
A spokesman for the authority said it is too early at this stage to say how long the road will need to remain closed.
They said, however, Highways team members are on site and will be gathering the information needed to assess the situation and arrange for specialist engineers to attend the site.
“Lincolnshire County Council would like to thank residents and road users for their patience while this issue is being dealt with,” the spokesman added.
