Hay bales fire at Aswarby

A firecew was called out from Sleaford shortly after 5pm yesterday (Tuesday) to hay bales on fire at Aswarby.

The crew arrived to find six tonnes of waste hay bales ablaze.

The firefighters used a hose and drags to extinguish the flames.

No cause has been given for the fire.
