Police snow warning after collisions on eastbound A17 Sleaford bypass and A15 at Harmston
The eastbound lanes of the A17 Sleaford bypass have been closed after reports of a multiple vehicle collision.
Lincolnshire Police reported at 9.40am that the incident has happened on the A17 at the Ruskington turn-off.
No serious injuries are reported, but emergency services are on the scene.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area while investigations take place and the vehicles are recovered.
Emergency services are also currently on the scene of a two vehicle collision on the A15 near Harmston.
A police spokesperson said: “We are asking motorists to avoid the area due to heavy traffic build up.”
- In view of the overnight snowfall, Lincolnshire Police are advising people to drive to the conditions of the roads.
They said on Facebook: “We've taken 30 reports of collisions since midnight today; one of those is a serious injury collision.
“Please make sure to plan your journey, allow for extra time and allow plenty of space between vehicles.”
