'She was deeply adored and treasured by all' - family tribute to great-grandmother after fatal crash
A family have paid tribute to their “perfect, beautiful, kind and fun-loving” great grandmother who died after she was involved in a four-vehicle collision near Louth in March.
Pauline James, 79, was driving a grey MG 1300 when she was one of two people who died following the collision on March 15 on the A157 close to Gayton-Le-Wold and Grimblethorpe.

She died a day later in hospital, police said at the time.
In a statement now released by the family they have said they were “beyond broken” about the loss of their “perfect, beautiful, kind and fun-loving” mum, grandmother and great grandmother.
They said: “She was deeply adored and treasured by all who were lucky enough to meet her. We will miss her warm and crazy presence every day. She wasn't just anyone, she was our world.”
They revealed that Pauline was a gifted figure skater in her younger years and then went on to own her own business. But her greatest and proudest achievement was the family that she raised and nurtured.
"Her family was very much her priority above all else and meant absolutely everything to her,” they said.
“She meant everything and more to us and every day will feel empty without her. The most perfect woman who wasn't ready to leave this world.”
A four-year-old boy, from Birmingham, who was a passenger in a black Volvo XC60 involved, died on March 23, police reported.
Investigations by Lincolnshire Police into the circumstances of the collision remain ongoing.
