The Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance neatly landed in the playing field at about 10am this morning in response to the call-out to a patient in a house on Grantham Road nearby.

Medics elected to transport the stabilised patient by land ambulance.

Meanwhile the pilot and helicopter soon attracted a number of onlookers including toddler Harvey who was allowed to have his photo taken on board the chopper before it took off again and headed back to base at Waddington.

Here we have a video of it taking off from the playing field.
