Woman in hospital following collision
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital with head injuries following a collision on the A1192 New York to Langrick Road.
Emergency services were called to the junction with the B1184 at 8.10am this morning when the car, driven by the 27-year-old Horncastle woman, and a Peugeot van from a Swineshead company were involved in a collision.
Police said the woman had some serious head injuries and had been airlifted to Pilgrim Hospital.
Her next of kin have yet to be notified.
There were no details for the male driver of the van.
The junction will remain closed until the condition of the woman has been ascertained.
