Treetops get into the pirate spirit

TREETOPS Nursery in Worksop raised money for Barnardo’s by holding a pirate-themed day.

The nursery raised £67 for the charity through a raffle and a lucky dip where the parents could win all sorts of prizes.

The children, mainly aged between three and five, went dressed up as pirates and took part in a treasure hunt where toys were hidden around the garden.

Staff member Lyndsey Allen said the children seemed to really enjoy it.

“They were very happy when they left and love looking at the pictures that are on the wall,” she said.

They also had a big BBQ with burgers, hot dogs and drinks and face painting so that the children could really get into being pirates.
