Tribute to Horncastle dad-of-five killed in A158 crash near Wragby

The victim of Thursday's (February 18) fatal crash on the A158 near Wragby has been named by police as father-of-five John Gilchrist.

Mr Gilchrist was 34 and lived in Horncastle.

His partner, Kelly said John was a caring, devoted and loving father and partner and will be missed by everyone including his father and brother.

Police have renewed their appeal for anyone who was on the A158 near Wragby between 7am and 8am last Thursday morning to contact them whether or not they think they saw anything of relevance.

Constable Dave Mitchell of the Roads Policing Team who is investigating the circumstances said he would like all drivers or passengers who were on the A158 travelling in either direction towards or from Wragby last Thursday between 7am and 8am to contact him via the witness hotline on 01522 558855 or 101.

The crash happened at about 7.25am on Thursday, February 18.
