Trinity stadium plans are here

GAINSBOROUGH Trinity FC have submitted plans for a new football stadium, expected to be ready to kick off their 2013/14 season.

Plans were delayed by a hitch with an archaeological report, but have this week been handed in to West Lindsey District Council.

The 4,000 capacity stadium will be a sporting hub for the community, featuring a synthetic pitch and training facility, and a five-a-side pitch.

Shops, offices, a physiotherapy centre and creche will also be on site, off the Little Belt Road, as well as 272 parking spaces.
