Tuxford Academy pupils raise Children in Need cash

PUPILS at Tuxford Academy put their best foot forward last week to raise money for Children in Need.

A group of girls took part in a 16-mile walk from Tuxford to Retford then onto East Drayton.

The girls, who wore hi-visibility vests decorated with spots, took seven-and-a-half hours to complete the walk.

The fundraising at the school for Children in Need doesn’t end there.

The Paul Andrews Charity Fair is being held on Thursday 22nd November in the school hall, where a cake stall will be raising funds for the charity. The event is open from 10am-2pm.
