Tuxford: Pupils to learn about the fire service
Pupils from Tuxford and beyond will be learning about fires and explosions, first aid and the history of the fire service in a special work experience programme.
Ten pupils will be involved in the week-long course held at the Boughton training centre of Notts Fire and Rescue Service.
This is the sixth year the initiative has been running offering youngsters an insight into the work of the Fire and Rescue Service for those interested in a career as a firefighter.
