TV Crimewatch appeal after 15-year-old girl raped in Doncaster

An appeal relating to the rape of a 15-year-old girl in Doncaster in 2008 will feature on BBC’s Crimewatch tonight (Thursday October 16).

The show, which airs at 9pm on BBC1, will appeal to viewers for information relating to the whereabouts of Ibrahim Jumaa Abdulrahman and Abdulrahmu Chomou, who are wanted in connection with the incident in Doncaster town centre on Saturday April 19, 2008.

Abdulrahman, 33, also uses the first name Jamie and has links to Lincolnshire. He and Chomou, 27, are originally from Sudan.

The men were arrested on suspicion of rape following the incident but failed to answer bail. Since then, the force has carried out an extensive search for the men, including working with forces throughout the country as well as Interpol.

Both men lived in Doncaster at the time but their current whereabouts is unknown.
