They are advising people out and about if they notice an obstruction to the road such as a fallen tree, call Lincolnshire Police on 101. If you are without electricity or see power lines or substations damaged due to the high winds from Storm Doris, call 105, rather than 999. http://www.powercut105.com

If power cables are down - stay away, the fire service warns. Do not touch items touching power lines. High voltages kill.

East Midlands Ambulance Service say they are currently experiencing a high volume of 999 calls due to the impact of Storm Doris. They are asking people to only call 999 in an emergency.

* Boston Borough Council advised people with dustbin collections today to take them in off the streets as soon as possible to avoid the empty bins being blown around by the storm. North Kesteven District Council binmen were said by the authority to be laying the bins down after emptying them to avoid them toppling over into streets.

Train services between Sleaford and Lincoln were said to be still affected after a tree blew over onto the line outside Ruskington earlier today.
