UPDATE: Local man, 19, airlifted to hospital after serious collision in Louth
A 19-year-old man from North Thoresby has been airlifted to hospital following a collision between his motorcycle and a Vauxhall Astra in Newmarket, Louth, early yesterday evening (Wednesday March 2).
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital, and then airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary with a serious leg injury. He is now stable.
The car driver was uninjured.
As reported yesterday, part of Newmarket was closed in both directions for most of the evening following the collision.
