UPDATE: Man, 67, seriously injured after three-vehicle crash on the A16

A 67-year-old man was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary with serious injuries following a three-vehicle collision on the A16 near Tetney yesterday afternoon (May 9).

The man, from West Yorkshire, was driving a Kia Picanto which was involved in a collision with a Mercedes and a Vauxhall Corsa at around 12.45pm yesterday.

Three other casualties were taken to Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby with less serious injuries.

The stretch of the A16 road between Tetney and North Thoresby was closed in both directions all afternoon, and reopened at 7pm.
