UPDATE: Owners of terrier type dogs found overnight being contacted

Two brown terrier-type dogs which were found overnight are chipped and the owners are being contacted according to police.

Louth Police tweeted: “Good news, they’ve been checked and both chipped so in the process of contacting the owner, thank you.”

SUNDAY, 9.41am - Police are appealing for the owners of two ‘terrier type’ dogs which were found overnight to come forward.
PCSO Andrew Cave, of the Louth Town Neighbourhood Policing Team, put out a Lincs Alert this morning (Sunday) which said: “Two brown terrier type dogs were found in the Castle Carlton area overnight.

“They are currently being looked after at Louth Police Station but will shortly be taken to Walkers Kennels, Grainthorpe.”

The owners are asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 579 of July 23.
