UPDATE: Police appeal for witnesses to serious two-vehicle collision which blocks A15 near Leasingham

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a serious two-vehicle collision on the A15 just north of Sleaford this morning (Thursday).

The collision is said to have happened just after 4.45am on the A15 at Dunsby Hollow, near to Cranwell, and the road is closed between Holdingham and Cranwell.

According to a police spokesman, the vehicles involved are a white Volvo HGV lorry and a black BMW 3 series. The HGV was travelling towards Sleaford from Lincoln and the BMW was travelling from Sleaford towards Lincoln.

They state: "We are appealing for anyone who was travelling on the A15 between Lincoln and Sleaford between 3am and 4.50am this morning and has seen either vehicle or has dash cam footage of the A15 between those times to contact us."

The road remains closed, say police and traffic is being diverted. They will update with further details when they can.
