UPDATE, SATURDAY: Unexplained death' in Skegness 'not suspicious'

Lincolnshire Police have confirmed the unexplained death of a man in Skegness was 'not suspicious'.

The man's body was discovered on a bowling green in South Parade yesterday (Friday) at 7.23am.

An update on the police investigation was issued this afternoon stating the death was 'not suspicious'.

However, police say they would still like to hear from anyone who was in the area where the man was found.

"We are appealing for anyone in the area between late on Thursday night and the time this body was found to contact us," police said.

Witnesses reported seeing police and a forensics team at the scene yesterday.
