UPDATE: Serious bus fire shuts A46 in Market Rasen

UPDATE, SATURDAY: Firefighters from Caistor and Market Rasen wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reel jets to tackle a fire involving a double-decker bus yesterday (evening).

Firefighters were called out to the A46 at Middle Rasen just before 6.10pm. The road was closed in both directions.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue has not released details of injuries or damage at this stage.

• A large double decker bus fire has shut the A46 at Market Rasen this evening, Friday March 4.

Fire crews are on the scene but the road is blocked in both directions.
