Update Slideshow - Police want to speak to these men
The assault happened on a train between Nottingham and Shirebrook on Saturday 26th May.
Detective Constable Tony Bennett said: “The victim, aged 26 and from Worksop, was returning home on the train with some friends, after watching cricket at Trent Bridge at around 9.30pm.”

“Also travelling on the train was a group of men, thought to be Nottingham Forest supporters. The men began chanting football songs and an argument broke out between the two groups.”
“One of the men punched the victim in the face, and a further two men kicked him in the back, leaving him with cuts and bruising.”
Officers downloaded CCTV footage and identified five men they think hold key information which could assist the investigation.
DC Bennett added: “This was a nasty attack that saw several men attacking another man. I’m sure someone will recognise the men pictured. If you do, please get in touch.”

A Nottingham Forest spokesman added: “As a club we deplore such behaviour and would urge anyone with any information to come forward and help bring the perpetrators of this assault to justice.”
