Update: Teenager charged following Gainsborough stabbing
A 16-year-old boy has been charged in relation to the stabbing of a teenage girl in Gainsborough yesterday morning (Tuesday 23rd September).
The boy, who cannot be named because he is under 18, was charged with wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
He is due to appear before Lincoln Magistrates Court this morning.
The 17-year-old girl who was injured was treated in hospital before being released yesterday afternoon.
