UPDATE: Three arrested after man suffered torso '˜lacerations' released on bail

Three people arrested following a serious incident which saw a man suffer lacerations to his torso, have been released on '˜short' bail, police confirmed today (Tuesday).

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said the trio, two women and a man, are on bail until the end of the week.

The injured man is recovering at Queen’s Medical Centre, in Nottingham, while Willoughby Road was reopened around 9.30pm on Monday evening.

Lincolnshire Police were called to the incident in Willoughby Road at about 4.15am yesterday (Monday), where the 23-year-old man was found with lacerations to his torso.

He was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital and later transferred to the Queens Medical Centre.

Access to Willoughby Road from Hospital Lane was closed while the investigation took place.
