UPDATE: Three injured in A15 collision

Three people have been reported injured in a collision on the A15 which happened last night (Tuesday) at Brauncewell.

According to Lincolnshire Police, a 50-year-old woman driving a Peugeot 30y sustained serious injuries and was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham.

Two people from a Volkswagen Touran were also taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be serious.

The crash is said to have happened at about 8.40pm near the turning to Brauncewell Church, which is between Navenby and Cranwell.

Police officers closed the B1191 junction at 9pm and the turning to Cranwell shortly after.

Firefighters from Sleaford and Metheringham were called to the scene at about 8.40pm and crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the driver of one of the cars.

The roads reopened at 1.30am.
