Update: Two men arrested following fire at derelict football ground in Louth

The fire that happened in the early hours of this morning (Monday) is now being treated as Arson according to Lincolnshire Police.

Two local men (aged 21 and 37) have been arrested in connection with the incident and are currently in custody being questioned.

Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area around the time of the fire is asked to contact us, quoting incident number 37 of August 1.

No-one was injured in the fire and no evacuations of nearby residents were required.
