UPDATE: Two men in hospital after serious A60 crash

Two men are in hospital following a serious accident which closed the A60 Mansfield road between Worksop and Hodthorpe.

The accident occurred just after 6.15am this morning (Friday, 14th February) and involved a green Renault Megane and a red Ford Fiesta, both of which sustained damage.

Emergency services attended the scene and police shut the road between Hodthorpe and the A60’s junction with the A619 in Worksop for two hours.

The driver of the Renault was taken to Chesterfield Hospital with a suspected broken leg, while the driver of the Ford was taken to Bassetlaw Hospital with minor injuries.

No-one else was involved in the incident and the road was re-opened at 8.20am.
