Update: Two people taken to hospital following collision at A158 High Toynton

Two drivers have been taken to Hull Royal Infirmary following a road traffic collision on the A158 at High Toynton this morning (Friday). The road has been closed all morning but has now been re-opened.

The road was closed by police earlier this morning near The Laurel’s Service Station near to Horncastle.

The collision was reported to police at around 8am and Lincolnshire Police said it happened at Thunkers Hollow.

The incident involved two vehicles; A grey SsangYong Korando and a silver Toyota Corolla.

Two drivers have been taken to Hull Royal Infirmary, one by land ambulance with the other being flown by air ambulance.

It is not thought anyone else has been injured.
