Valley shine in latest Ofsted
OUTWOOD Academy Valley has made rapid improvements in the past year, according to the school’s new Ofsted report.
The Valley Road school, which is in the final stages of becoming an academy under the sponsored Outwood Grange Academies Trust, has pulled itself up from ‘Inadequate’ to ‘Good’ in the space of a year.
It comes weeks after its sister school Portland dragged itself out of special measures, prompting the question: Is the Trust’s strict stance on behaviour the key to its success?
