VE Day photo gallery - Sleaford area celebrates and commemorates the 75th anniversary at home

Homes across the Sleaford area were decorated with flags, bunting and balloons as residents came out in their streets and gardens to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day on Friday.

Sunny bank holiday weather rewarded the many households who enjoyed drinks and cakes alongside neighbours, with street parties and even a drive-through by families of residents at St Andrew's Care Home in Ewerby who had not seen each other for eight weeks due to coronavirus restrictions.

Here we show you some of the images of the day.
