There was at least one visitor to a Doncaster polling station looking rather sheepish today.

You could even say the friend which accompanied Doncaster North voters Eric and Judith Preston was the black sheep of the family.

The Prestons brought their pet lamb, Beth, as they made their way to the same polling station at Sutton village hall, that Ed Miliband had voted earlier.

The lamb, full name Black Sabbath, will be appearing at the Yorkshire Show.

Official rules allow state voters can take animals into the polling booths with them - although they cannot vote! It is not known if Beth the lamb voted for Ewe-Kip!
