Vape, an electronic cigarette store which opened on Newcastle Avenue in Worksop around three months ago, was first broke into on Wednesday 18th June.

And now manager Daniel France says he is ‘desperate’ to get to the bottom of the matter after Vape was burgled a second time in the early hours of Tuesday 8th July.

He said: “At around 3am, I had a call alerting me to what had happened.”

“When we were broken into last time, we boarded up the back of the shop to prevent it happening again- but they had ripped the boards off and got inside somehow.”
“The alarms had sounded which must have scared them a little and prompted them to grab whatever they could.”

“They completely ransacked the stockroom towards the back of the shop.”

“Approximately £1,000 worth of stock had been taken this time. We’ve only been open three months and are sick of this. We’re desperate to get to the bottom of it and are offering a cash reward for information leading to the conviction of whoever committed the act.”

“We have stores in Sheffield and Chesterfield and never had a problem. It’s not easy here.”

Police are currently investigating the incidents. Anyone with information can call Daniel on 07539743935 or Notts Police on 101.
