VIDEO: Huge tree crashes down on main road
Motorists in Retford had a lucky escape when a huge tree crashed down across a main road in the town.
The Beech tree fell across London Road from a nearby garden at about 12.40 yesterday, November 1.
Drivers face delays as police directed traffic on to different routes.
Tree surgeons from Nottinghamshire County Council were called out to move the tree and the road was cleared just after 4pm.
