Video: Lancasters and Vulcan as seen from Boston Stump
The last two airworthy Lancaster bombers were joined by another iconic aircraft, the Vulcan, for an historic flypast over Lincolnshire today (Thursday, August 21).
The trio, made by British manufacturer Avro, took off from RAF Waddington earlier this afternoon, passing over Boston shortly after 2pm.
They would then head on to RAF Marham in Norfolk.
It coincided with a turf-cutting ceremony for the new Bomber Command Memorial at the International Bomber Command Centre, in Canwick Hill.
