Video: People in Worksop have their say on the UK’s involvement in airstrikes against Islamic State in Iraq.

As we mentioned earlier MPs will be voting as to whether the UK should be involved in the air strikes against the Islamic State in Iraq.

Bassetlaw MP John Mann carried out a survey for constituents to have their say about what our country should do, so he could get to know their views before he voted.

The vote came about as 70.44 per cent said yes, 21.64 per cent said no, 7.92 per cent were unsure.

At the Guardian did our own vote on the streets of Worksop and 90 per cent of the people we spoke to, said the UK should be involved in the airstrikes against the Islamic State in Iraq.

Some of the comments included “If they are hurting us then we should hurt them” and “ We need to stick up for ourselves.”

Only 10 per cent of the people we spoke to said we shouldn’t be involved in the trouble because: “ We should keep out of it” and “why do we always need to be involved in everything.”
