VIDEO: Schools, businesses and groups all take part in coffee morning fundraisers for Macmillan care

Shops, businesses, groups and individuals all brewed up for the Macmillan World's Biggest Coffee Morning event on Friday to support the cancer care charity.

Staff at Turnbull’s builders merchants sold cuppas and cakes as did Vintage59 the new retro pop-up shop in Navigation Yard and Miller’s Bar in Money’s Yard. Susan Brown opened her London Road home up to visitors to sell plants, jams and chutney, biscuits and cakes.

Leasingham’s St Andrew’s School held an event, while Ruskington Chestnut Street CE Primary Academy saw more than 80 parents come in to do a fun maths lesson with their children before having coffee and cake, for a donation, raising in excess of £260 for Macmillan.
