Paige Megan Harris, marketing communications co-ordinator, said: “Over the weekend, a safety trigger caused the ride to go into slow and safe mode. The safety procedure was handled professionally and our qualified team ensured that the health and safety of our customers was priority at all times.
“Customers were given an explanation of the process while our maintenance team manually ‘parked’ the ride so that they could egress safely.
“The ride did exactly as it was designed to do in this situation and was back in operation within half an hour following additional precautionary safety checks.”
