The exhibition, which took staff months to complete, honours and tells the story of Worksop soldiers who gave their lives during the Great War.
Jennie Johnson, library assistant, said: “The great thing about this exhibition is it’s very much a local effort, set up with a lot of care by our staff.”
“A local knitting and crocheting club also provided us with the knitted red poppies which tie in with the theme of the exhibition.”
“We really hope people will come along and find out a bit more about the Worksop men who gave their lives in the Great War.”
“This is a poignant and educational way to honour the sacrifices they made,” she added.
The exhibition is located on the first floor of the library, is free to enter and will run until September.
