Elizabeth learnt to play the piano as a child and continued to play throughout her life until sadly her eyesight deteriorated.

And she said some of her fondest memories were those spent with two of her brothers, who were excellent singers and comedians, and accompaying them on the piano at many concerts in the area.

Elizabeth married her husband Jack when she was 21-years-old and they lived in Creswell until Jack passed away in 1982.

They had one son, John, who sadly passed away nine years ago, and Elizabeth has two grandsons and three great granddaughters.
